The DECIPHER Project is proud to share a new publication in npj Climate Action: “Towards holistic environmental policy assessment: multi-criteria frameworks and recommendations for modelers.”
This research introduces a multi-criteria framework designed to help policymakers and researchers evaluate climate and environmental strategies in a more holistic way. By broadening the scope beyond economic and technical factors, it highlights the importance of integrating social, environmental, and cultural dimensions into policy design.
With this contribution, DECIPHER paves the way for more inclusive and future-proof decision-making, ensuring that policies better reflect the real priorities of societies while safeguarding planetary boundaries.
