On Wednesday, the 20th of March, DECIPHER Project partners met virtually and delved into the progress of the project, shared insights, and advanced in the way forward.
The session commenced with a warm welcome from the project coordinator, E3M and overall project progress review. Next, project partners participated in a comprehensive presentation of the DECIPHER project’s progress thus far, highlighting key milestones achieved. Thus, each partner presented the Work Package’s progress and the tasks they are leading. The breakdown included:
- WP1 – Stakeholders Co-development of Decision-Making Framework
- WP2 – Enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and legitimacy of environmental policymaking: Empirical evidence on policy innovation from the social sciences
- WP3 – Economic and Physical Systems interaction
- WP4 – Advances in economic theory and moving beyond the state of the art in economic modeling
- WP5 – Enriching forward-looking decision-making frameworks and processes: risk, resilience, and understanding opportunity
- WP6 – Application of Decision-making Framework in Policy Assessment
- WP7 – Communication and Dissemination
Each Work Package presentation provided valuable insights into the strides made in their respective domains, underscoring the collaborative effort driving the DECIPHER Project forward.
Also, the discussions emphasized the project’s commitment to innovation and thus remaining dedicated to its mission of enhancing decision-making processes in environmental policy, leveraging interdisciplinary expertise, and fostering meaningful stakeholder engagement.
